About The Event

We invite you to join us Saturday, May 29 at 4:00PM for the opening reception of Wandering Stones, a memorial exhibition for Alexander Konstantinov, the principal architect of TurnPark Art Space who passed away unexpectedly in May 2019. Bridging Konstantinov’s local and international achievements, Wandering Stones presents artworks related to TurnPark, as well as images of his international public art and architectural projects in the United States, Russia, Austria, Belgium, Japan, Luxembourg, and other countries. This exhibition brings together the “stones” of the work Konstantinov cast around the world. The exhibition title also refers to Wandering Rocks, one of the sculptures Konstantinov made for and installed at TurnPark. Wandering Stones is curated by Alexander’s daughter, Julia Tulovsky, Curator for Russian and Soviet Nonconformist Art at the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University. Julia will present a talk about Konstantinov’s art and architectural projects all over the world. Light refreshments and drinks will be served. While on the premises, please continue to observe any current healthy and safety protocols.
