About The Event

Author Carolinda Goodman will read from her picture book, Once in a Full Moon, on Saturday, June 11. The reading and a moon-related craft will take place in the in West Stockbridge Town Hall Community Room at 11 a.m.

Once in a Full Moon tells in lively rhyme, illustrated in rich colors, the stories behind the different names for this monthly visitor, many of which come from Native American tradition.

Under her “other” name, Carol Goodman Kaufman is the food history columnist for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette and the Berkshire Jewish Voice. She also writes mysteries, and recently published two short stories in A Plot for Any Occasion: A Crime Anthology. Her freelance articles have appeared in local, regional, and national publications.

The first twenty children to arrive at the Community Room will receive a free copy of the book. Masks are strongly encouraged.
