Nature of our Mind

Gail Gelburd's installation at Art on Main Gallery begins as layered and multi-faceted figures in water. She first creates archival digital photographs and then adds encaustic paint, collage, drawing, gold leaf, or molds the form. When you step into the exhibition you will visit a unique environment where nature is an analogy of our psyche. Floor art, wall pieces, and sculptures sit in a space surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature so that the viewer-turned-participant can be one with our environment.
