About The Event
The Guild of Berkshire Artists announces its first brick and mortar art gallery. Located in the Stonehouse Properties building at 38 Main Street, West Stockbridge.
“Oil and Water” works by Maria Mosca in oil and Adrian Holmes in watercolor are first exhibitors with an opening reception Thursday, Aug 4 at 4 pm.
The premier show "Oil & Water"(Abstract in oil & Scenic Watercolors) at the new "Art on Main — Gallery"opens Thursday, August 4th at 2:00 PM and runs for two weeks until Sunday August 14th. "Oil & Water"is a show of contrasts of two very different painting styles, abstract expressionism and scenic watercolors.
Marcelene Mosca is a contemporary abstract artist working in both Lenox and New York City. Her work is very expressive and bold in contrast to Adrian Holmes'scenic classic contemporary watercolors. Adrian is showing works both of local scenes and recent visit to the coast on Maine.
"The Art on Main — Gallery" is designed to showcase the work of the members of the "Guild of Berkshire Artists" and will rotate with new artists every two weeks.
Oil & Water runs from Thursday August 4th to Sunday August 14th.
