Don Quixote reading at TurnPark
Join us for a memorable and unique afternoon of Don Quixote related happenings on Sunday, July 9th from 2-3PM!
We will gather around Nikolai Silis' Don Quixote sculpture by the quarry and listen to passages from the book read by Heather Fisch, Joey Chernila, Brendan Bo O’Connor, Alex Harvey and Jason Landon Marcus. We'll also hear from Grigori Fateyev, TurnPark Art curator.
Remember how in the book, Don Quixote and his trusty steed Ronsinante were accompanied everywhere by his friend Sancho Pansa and his donkey? Well, there will be a donkey in attendance to pet! That's right, folks. We're going all out on this one. Not to be missed!
We will also have one of a kind Don Quixote prints and t-shirts for sale, popcorn and other surprises.
The reading is in conjunction with an exhibition in our Gate House Gallery of Nikolai Silis' Don Quixote Graphic Series on view from May 13, 2023 — July 31, 2023.
