This exhibit by three Guild of Berkshire Artists will open at the Guild's member gallery on Thursday, August 1and continue through August 11.
Working in various mediums, their theme "Glory Days" will surely entice art appreciators of all interests. Opening reception on Saturday, August 3 from 2 -4 pm and an artists talk on Saturday, August 10 at 2 pm.
Karen Carmean
Karen Carmean creates artwork in Plein Air in oils with a limited palette exploring the Berkshires. She enjoys encouraging people to join her and experience making art outdoors.
Natalie Tyler
Natalie Tyler is an artist, who is inspired by the natural world. She creates sculptures using glass and bronze casting to explore the fragile and forceful elements of nature. She is currently working on a sculpture that will exhibit in this year's Contemporary Sculpture exhibition at Chesterwood.
Don Sexton
"I tell stories." Don lives in TriBeCa with a studio in Goshen, Connecticut. He has Masters and Doctorate degrees in economics from the University of Chicago and retired after 50 years of award-winning teaching and research at Columbia University. Currently he is performing
stand-up comedy on Broadway and in his spare time writes song lyrics. Don's works are oils or mixed media (inks and oil pastels).
